Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup greek yogurt plain*
  • ½ to 1 cup almond milk unsweetened*
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder see notes*
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp crushed sandwich cookies see notes*
  • 1 tsp white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a mason jar. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight, ideally).
  • On the day of serving, remove from fridge and give it a quick stir before eating. Enjoy!

Notes

Use a plain Greek yogurt or vanilla yogurt. I generally use a full fat plain Greek yogurt for more protein.
Substitute your favorite milk of choice for almond milk.
I’ve tried this recipe with unflavored collagen peptides, Orgain, and Wellious protein powders and they all come out great. If you’re using the collagen peptides, you can get away with using ½ cup almond milk in the recipe. If you’re using a traditional type of protein powder like the Orgain or Wellious brands, I’d recommend using 1 cup of almond milk or your milk of choice.
I normally just use traditional Oreo cookies in this recipe. You can also opt for gluten-free sandwich cookies or lower sugar sandwich cookies.
After soaking overnight, if your overnight oats are too dry, you can add a splash of milk by the tablespoon while mixing in until you reach your desired consistency.
