Easy Tzatziki Sauce

This creamy Tzatziki Sauce combines cucumbers, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, and fresh herbs. It’s the perfect addition to serve as a dip with pita bread and fresh vegetables, on a sandwich, and many more dishes!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup cucumber grated
  • 1 cup greek yogurt whole milk preferred
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Grate the cucumber using a cheese grater. Wrap the grated cucumber in a paper towel and squeeze out as much water as possible.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cucumber, Greek yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt. Taste and season with more salt if needed.
  • Enjoy immediately or chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

This tzatziki sauce can be enjoyed in a variety of different ways. Use this delicious sauce as a gyro sauce, a spread on sandwiches, or in these Greek Chicken Quinoa Bowls. Additionally, it goes great with falafel, grain salads, or as a dip for raw veggies and pita chips. 
Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 to 4 days.
