  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 4 oz light ginger beer
  • ½ lime juiced

  • ½ tsp agave optional
  • ice

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker or sturdy glass, lightly muddle the sage, lime juice, and agave (if using).

  • Strain through a fine-mesh or cocktail strainer into a glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top with ginger beer and stir gently. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Notes

If you can't find light ginger beer, you can use regular ginger beer but it will have a higher sugar content.
Substitute pomegranate juice or cranberry juice instead of pineapple juice.
Substitute a prebiotic ginger ale to increase the nutritional benefits.
See full blog post above for more variations and substitutions.
